How Real Madrid could line up against Levante

Sports Mole looks at how Real Madrid could line up in Sunday night's La Liga clash with Levante.

Real Madrid will be looking to return to winning ways in La Liga when they travel to Levante on Sunday night.

Madrid suffered a shock 2-1 home defeat to Girona last weekend, which was a result that severely dented their already-slim hopes of challenging for the title.

As it stands, Los Blancos are third in the table, two points off second-placed Atletico Madrid and nine behind the leaders Barcelona.

Santiago Solari's side have bigger fish to fry, through, as they prepare to face Barcelona twice - in two separate competitions - and Ajax in the Champions League in their three matches after the trip to Levante.

Here, Sports Mole takes a look at how Madrid could line up in Valencia this weekend.

POSS RM XI vs. LEV

Out: Marcos Llorente (abductor muscle tear), Sergio Ramos (suspension)
Doubtful: Isco (back)

Defensive midfielder Marcos Llorente was the only first-team player missing from Friday's training session.

Indeed, Isco was able to train with the main group following a back problem, but it seems unlikely that the attacker, who is desperately out of favour, will be in Solari's XI this weekend.

There will be no Sergio Ramos, meanwhile, with the club captain suspended following his red card in the home defeat to Girona last weekend, which means that Nacho should come into the defence.

It remains to be seen whether Solari decides to make multiple changes ahead of the clash with Barcelona next week, but it seems likely that the likes of Luka Modric, Vinicius Junior and Karim Benzema will all start.

Gareth Bale and Marco Asensio will also be hoping to earn spots in the XI, but neither has really impressed since returning from injury and Lucas Vazquez could be given the nod down the right.
