Matthew Upson confident of promotion

Brighton & Hove Albion can push for promotion to the Premier League, says Matthew Upson.

Matthew Upson has insisted that Brighton & Hove Albion's squad is capable of a "good push" for promotion from the Championship.

The Seagulls are eighth in the league table, two points behind sixth-placed Leeds United.

"We are probably in a similar place. Possibly the squad is a little bit bigger and, providing we can keep bodies on the pitch and keep people healthy, we'll have a good push," the Daily Star quotes Upson as saying.

Brighton host Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
