Manchester United fans direct anger towards Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford

A group of Manchester United supporters reportedly vent their anger at Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford following their 3-0 defeat to Manchester City.

A group of Manchester United fans reportedly turned on former manager Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford after suffering defeat at the hands of local rivals Manchester City.

The Red Devils recorded a 10th loss in the Premier League this season when City hit three goals past David Moyes's team last night.

According to widespread reports, a group of supporters vented their anger at Ferguson, who was sitting in the directors' box, for choosing ex-Everton boss Moyes as his successor.

Six stewards are also said to have prevented a group of United fans from trying to remove 'The Chosen One' banner in honour of Moyes in the Stretford End.
