Manchester United have allegedly agreed a deal with Atalanta BC for the signing of Denmark international Rasmus Hojlund, with the forward set to pen a five-year contract at Old Trafford.
Hojlund has been the English club's number one attacking target this summer, with the 20-year-old believed to have been identified by Red Devils head coach Erik ten Hag as his ideal acquisition.
The Dane arrived at Atalanta from Sturm Graz last summer, and he scored 10 goals and registered four assists in 34 appearances for the Italian outfit during the 2022-23 campaign.
Paris Saint-Germain have also been heavily linked with the forward, but Man United have remained the favourites for his signature, and a move to Old Trafford has now allegedly been agreed.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the overall package will be worth around €70m (£60.1m) with add-ons, and the striker has already agreed a five-year contract with Ten Hag's side.

Romano claims that the documents will be prepared in the next 24 hours, with an official announcement potentially arriving before the end of the weekend.
Hojlund was not involved in Atalanta's pre-season friendly with Bournemouth on Saturday in a clear indication that he was on the verge of leaving the club.
Initially, the Italian outfit had thought to have been looking for around €100m (£86m) for the centre-forward, but it is understood that a deal has been agreed for under that figure.
According to Sky Sports News, the add-ons in the agreement are worth around €9.5m (£8m) for a player who started his professional career at Copenhagen.

Man United were linked with Harry Kane earlier this summer, but it soon became clear that Tottenham Hotspur would not be willing to sell the England captain to a domestic rival under any circumstances.
Bayern Munich are now at the head of the queue for the 30-year-old, with PSG also keeping a close eye on the developments.
Napoli's Victor Osimhen and Eintracht Frankfurt's Randal Kolo Muani have also been linked with moves to Old Trafford, but Hojlund will be signed as the big-money centre-forward.
Providing that there are no late issues, the Dane could make his debut for Man United against either Lens or Athletic Bilbao next weekend.
Hojlund's competitive debut for the 20-time English champions could then potentially come against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League at Old Trafford on August 14.
