Manchester United have reportedly held preliminary talks over the signing of Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
The 29-year-old is spending the summer on international duty with France in Germany, where Les Bleus will be fighting for Euro 2024 supremacy over the next month.
Rabiot has started all three of his country's fixtures matches to date, with France having to settle for second in Group D after drawing 1-1 against Poland on Tuesday evening.
Focusing on club football, the midfielder enjoyed a consistent campaign for Juventus, making 31 appearances in Serie A, scoring five times and providing three assists from the engine room.
After progressing into the knockout stage of the Euros, Rabiot and France will face the runner-ups of a hotly-contested Group E in Dusseldorf on Monday afternoon for a place in the quarter-finals.

Man United 'hold talks' with Juventus over Rabiot
According to TEAMtalk, there is currently one Premier League club who are pushing the hardest for the services of Juventus playmaker Rabiot this summer.
The report claims that the Red Devils have entered preliminary discussions with the Old Lady over a possible move for the 29-year-old to Old Trafford.
Although Rabiot has been offered a fresh three-year deal by Juve, it is understood that the player will not agree to the terms as he is unhappy with the salary package.
This has led to the midfielder and his agent looking elsewhere to secure a even higher wage, with Erik ten Hag keen to bring the Frenchman to the Premier League.
Serie A champions Inter Milan could supposedly offer Rabiot the chance to remain in Italy, while there is talk of a shock return to Paris Saint-Germain for the midfielder.

Arsenal, Aston Villa in Rabiot race?
As well as Man United, it is believed that Premier League title challengers Arsenal are considering a summer swoop for Juventus' Rabiot ahead of the new term.
Mikel Arteta is scouring the market for players who could take the Gunners to the next level, while also planning for the imminent departure of Thomas Partey.
Plotting for a first Champions League campaign this century, Aston Villa are said to be admirers of Rabiot, who Unai Emery has identified as a midfielder that could fit into his style of play in the West Midlands.
The former Arsenal boss is reportedly being very specific about his transfer targets this summer, with Rabiot and Lazio's Matteo Guendouzi on the shortlist of potential midfield incomings.
