Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola has selected a strong team for his side's pre-season clash with his former club Barcelona this evening.

Spanish midfielder Thiago Alcantara has been given a starting role against his former team, while there are also spots for Franck Ribery, Arjen Robben and Thomas Muller.

Barcelona, meanwhile, have Lionel Messi in their starting side, but there are also starts for fringe players Adriano, Alex Song, Sergi Roberto and Martin Montoya.
