Gareth Bale 'rejects £150m Chelsea move'

Real Madrid's Gareth Bale rejects the chance to join Chelsea, according to reports.

Gareth Bale has reportedly rejected the chance to join Chelsea in a deal worth up to £150m.

The Welshman has struggled to keep his place in Real Madrid's midfield due to recent good performances from Isco, and The Express claims that Blues manager Jose Mourinho is preparing a world-record bid to land the Los Blancos star.

Chelsea are rumoured to be offering a £90m transfer fee as well as wages totalling £60m to try to secure a deal for the former Tottenham Hotspur player.

Although the West London club are continuing to monitor Bale's situation, the Champions League winner is said to be keen on fighting his way back into Real's first team.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are reportedly looking to offload Andre Schurrle and Mohamed Salah as Mourinho moves to remodel his squad.
