Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Mousa Dembele was coy when asked if he would like the club to sign reported target Toby Alderweireld.
Spurs have been linked with a summer swoop from the on-loan Southampton defender, but Dembele distanced himself from rumours linking his side with a deal for his Belgium colleague.
"I think [Toby] is a great player of course, but this is not my [issue] to talk about," he told Sky Sports News.
"We have good players at Tottenham too so it is difficult to see who fits in our team and who doesn't."
Spurs return to Premier League action when they travel to Burnley after the international break.
