Sebastian Larsson admits he would love to win the FA Cup with Sunderland.

Sunderland midfielder Sebastian Larsson has admitted that he would love to win the FA Cup.

The Swede picked up a Carling Cup winners' medal with his former side Birmingham when they beat Arsenal in the final last season.

The surprising win for Birmingham has convinced Larsson that it does not necessarily have to be a top-four side that wins the cup competition.

"An FA Cup winner's medal to go with the one I won in the Carling Cup would be very nice – I wouldn't say no," said the 26-year old.

"Winning the Carling Cup was something no one expected Birmingham to do, so it shows it's possible.

"It doesn't necessarily have to be one of the top-four clubs that wins the trophies."

Larsson joined Sunderland on a free transfer in the summer.
