Scott Parker says that Tottenham Hotspur "can learn" from their mistakes in the last two seasons for the second half of this campaign.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Scott Parker believes that they need to learn from their past mistakes and stay focused for the remainder of the season.

Spurs, who are fourth in the Premier League table at the moment, struggled to maintain their performance in the second half of the campaign in each of the last two seasons.

"Maybe what happened in the past will stand us in good stead," The Independent quotes Parker as saying.

"I don't know if we've got a better squad than last year because we've lost some world-class players.

"I just think we can learn from two years and stay strong."

Spurs finished fourth last season but lost their chance to play in the Champions League as Chelsea, who ended the league campaign in sixth place, won the competition.
