Steve Clarke refuses to get too downbeat by West Bromwich Albion's failings in front of goal.

West Bromwich Albion manager Steve Clarke has insisted that he is not worried by his side's lack of goals in recent matches.

Having started the season well, the Baggies have now gone three encounters without finding the net.

However, Clarke has revealed that he is calm about the whole situation.

"I don't look at statistics, I look at the way the team is playing and the team has been playing okay," he told the Express & Star. "I have got nothing to worry about in terms of goalscoring because we have proved this season that we can score goals.

"At the moment, the bounce of the ball or the rub of the green is not quite going for us and we knew on Sunday that we had to stop a run of three defeats."

Clarke's team have scored 24 Premier League goals this campaign.
